We offer this original 19th century hand written letter and printed business card from Tucker & Lloyd, Agents for procuring Bounty Land and Pensions, and dealers in Land Warrants and Real Estate, Washington, D.C. Office No 474 7th Street, opposite City Post Office. The letter, dated March 22, 1859, measuring 7-5/8 x 9-3/4 inches, is addressed to Charles Gray Herkimer, NY. He is notified that his claim has been rejected. The card is printed on a shiny medium-weight stock and measures 3-1/2 x 2-1/4 inches. Light wear, toning. Very good condition.
