    Description

    This is a nice, original letter to Thomas Nichol from J.M. Rusk.
    Jeremiah McClain Rusk was sworn in as Wisconsin Governor in January 1882, less than a year after this letter was written.
    Mr. Nichol was a businessman in agricultural machinery and later in life he was involved in the transition to the presidency for President James Garfield as well as becoming a Judge.
    Measures 5.5" x 8.5" and contains original envelope.
    Letter has folds but is in good condition overall, envelope has wear that is shown in photos.
