    Description

    This is a nice, original letter dated Nov 16, 1887 to Thomas Nichol from J.M. Rusk.
    Jeremiah McClain Rusk was sworn in as Wisconsin Governor in January 1882.  Letter is on Executive Chamber stationary and marked private. .
    Mr. Nichol was a businessman in agricultural machinery and later in life he was involved in the transition to the presidency for President James Garfield as well as becoming a Judge.
    Measures 8.5" x 11"
    Letter has folds but is in good condition overall. Will be shipped folded. There is no envelope.
