History:
George Stuart Fullerton (b. August 18, 1859 in Fatehgarh, India – d. March 23, 1925) was the son of the Rev. Robert Stuart Fullerton and Martha White Fullerton. Fullerton was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (1879) and Yale Divinity School (1884). Fullerton held numerous positions at the University of Pennsylvania, including dean of the college and vice-provost of the university. Fullerton was the fifth president of the American Psychological Association (1896). He then was appointed professor of philosophy at Cornell (1904) and served has head of the philosophy department. Fullerton was an exchange professor at the University of Vienna at the beginning of World War I. While lecturing in Munich, Germany, he was seized and interned as a civilian enemy national. After the war he was released and returned to the United States. However, his health was destroyed due to the interment and he committed suicide in 1925. Fullerton wrote numerous books on philosophy, ethics and religion.
George Quintard Horwitz (b. February 3, 1868 in Pennsylvania – d. December 14, 1916 in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania) was the son of Phineas Jonathan Horwitz (1822–1904) and Caroline H. Norris Horwitz (1828–1877). Horwitz was a prominent lawyer.
George Gordon Meade Large (b. August 26, 1874 – d. June 4, 1923 in Edgewater Park, Burlington County, New Jersey) was the son of John Baldwin Large (1846–1892) and Sarah Wise Meade (1851–1913). He was the grandson of Civil War General George Gordon Meade (1815–1872).
