Description

Antique rolled gold Etruscan revival left facing carved cameo brooch. Brooch features a delicate carved cameo in a rolled gold setting. At the top of the piece is a prong set pearl. Brooch is in fair condition with some signs of wear to the setting. The natural  pearl does not have a smooth finish. Elongated pin stem. Tube hinge with C clasp. C is facing the opposite way and closes upwards. Left facing cameo. These cameos are more rare as most carvers are right handed. Tooling marks from its creation can be seen with loupe.
Brooch measures 1 inch tall and 7/8ths of an inch wide.
