It was installed on a new NAD C-388 in July 2021, never used.
The BluOS 2i is an add-on module for select NAD components: C368, C388, C390DD, M32, M12.

This module adds compatibility with Bluesound's BluOS wireless music system. That means you can integrate your compatible NAD component into a wireless multi-room music system. Stream songs on your main system as well as Bluesound speakers throughout your home.
Operate your system via Wi-Fi® using the BluOS Controller app with your Apple® orAndroid™ device, or your Windows® or Mac® computer. It gives you flexible control over your entire music system. Play the same song everywhere or stream different music to different zones at the same time. You can even use your Apple Watch to control your system.

The BluOS 2 module has a new more powerful ARM Processor for a quicker, more responsive user experience. As an internal module there are no external wires or power supplies required and integration with the firmware is hand-in-glove. Both Ethernet and Wi-Fi operate in asynchronous mode for lowest jitter performance and allow connection to music stored anywhere on the local network or streamed directly from the Internet using popular music services like Spotify Connect, Tidal, and TuneIn. You can also play music from a USB drive or hard drive via the USB A port. Bluetooth® with aptX is also natively integrated so you can wirelessly connect to any smartphone, tablet, or Bluetooth-enabled device within range and stream your favorite music apps or libraries in high-fidelity.
