Pair of Antique Cast Bronze Exterior "Brocade" Doorknobs by Corbin, c1880's

Description

These beauties are original 19th Century ornamental cast bronze exterior residential "Brocade" pattern dome-shaped doorknobs designed and fabricated by PF Corbin in the 1880's. They feature a centrally located and slightly sunken or recessed encircled floral rosette with knurled edging and features a unique field pattern consisting of lightly incised circular rosettes. Mostly uniform patina remains. Spindle and set screws are included.
Exterior doorknob measures 2 1/2" and the interior measures 2 1/4" in diameter.
