Up for bids is this original Nikon 52mm Glass Filter from 1959. This first version of the Polarizer for Nikon was finished in bronze which gives it kind of a brushed brownish silver look. The original instruction manual dated from 1959 is included as is the custom Nippon Kogaku leather filter case, making this a rare find for collectors
The polarizer is ideal for removing reflection and enhancing colour.
The filter is in excellent scratch-free condition. Case has light wear. Manual has some soiling, yellowing and edge wear from age
