RARE Canadian Silver SINGER Attachment Box Vintage Antique Sewing Accessory VS2

For the collector of rare Singer sewing attachments.
What we have here is a very rare silver box of Canadian made Singer attachments. Made for the
fiddlebased VS2 machines (note the curved ends of the Shirr plate and underbraider)
The box is complete except for the lack of the 2 screwdrivers.
The Ruffler has an early patent dated 1882 and the feet are not the regular feet. Each foot has 2  adjusting screws. Very unusual and practical
The cool thing about this box (besides its being silvered (plated)) is how the feet and ruffler are held in place. There is a lever at the side of the box (inside) that lifts up, and while doing so, it lifts the little brackets that hold the feet in place.
This box has been extensively discussed in the Needlebar forum and other serious collector sites, and  will be a nice addition to your collection.
