Rare & Important 1950's Vincent HRD Motorcycle SCCA "Eisenhower" Jacket

A very rare, original Vincent HRD Motorcycle "Eisenhower" mechanic's jacket from the 1950's, very possibly owned by a Vincent Black Lightning Bonneville Racer, Joe Simpson. This pristine Vincent Eisenhower has an original sewn patch "The Vincent" on the back, an embroidered "HRD" patch on the front right side, and "Joe" hand stitched on the front left side. This incredibly scarce jacket was made by "The Sportsmaster" and has the original tag under the collar, also marked as a medium in size. Original Vincent HRD motorcycles, parts, and apparel are highly collectible and extremely rare. The seller contacted The National Motorcycle Museum which houses the largest collection of British motorcycle’s in the world with over 1000 machines from 170 different manufacturers. The seller advised our staff that the museum expressed a lot of interest and verified the rare nature of this jacket.
